To manually verify your account, please provide one primary and one secondary document from the allowed lists below. The name and address on the documents must match the name and address shown on your credit report. Note: Once you have both documents and are ready to send them, please send them to this email address: customercare@identitydefense.com
Once the information is received, we will verify that the identity information in the documents matches the identity information on your credit report. You will receive a reply to your email once the process has been completed.
Primary documents:
• U.S. state-issued driver’s license or youth operator driver’s license
• U.S. state-issued photo ID
• U.S. military ID or military photo ID card
• U.S. visa or immigration photo ID card
• U.S. federal-issued passport
• U.S. federal-issued permanent resident card (green card)
• Non-U.S. issued passport
• Marriage license confirming the name change
• Court-acknowledged document confirming name change, including previous name, new name
and court seal or signature.
Secondary documents:
Documents must not be older than two months.
• Bank account statement (downloaded online statements are acceptable)
• New bank account confirmation letter
• Utility bill for gas service
• Utility bill for electricity service
• Utility bill for water or sewage service
• Utility bill for waste/trash service
• Credit card bill issued by a major credit card provider (Visa, MasterCard, American Express,
etc.)
